What is a List View?
List Views are a great way to segment data based on specific criteria. This allows you to access the data in real time at the tap of a button. Zoho comes with some default views for each Module however you can create your own Custom Views. For example, you may wish to create a Custom View for the Contact Module that displays all of the Contacts who live in a specific area and have been referred by a specific Account, or perhaps a view in the Lead Module that displays any new leads that have come in today.
In the following image you will see a Leads Module and the Zoho default View of All Leads has been selected.
Zoho default List Views
Zoho default Lists can be edited and the columns can be sorted to suit individual needs.
To edit a view simply hover your mouse over the View name and an Edit button will appear.
From this screen you can select, remove or rearrange any of the fields you wish to view in the list.
Creating a new Custom View
Click on the little arrow icon next to the View Name that is currently displayed. The List View panel will appear, at the bottom of the panel there is an option "Create View"
A page will open that will allow you to customise your View
You can add or subtract criteria, when there are multiple criteria you can select if you would like the conditions to be "And" which will require both criteria to be present or "Or" which will display results that are meeting at least one of the Criteria points. The pattern of dependency can also be edited.
Once criteria has been selected fields can be selected, deselected, rearranged and then saved.
You can select if you would like the view to be private, visible by all or selected users then click "Save"
Once you have clicked "Save" the View will be visible.
